My computer has all of a sudden went funky.  I have no clue as to why
either.  I keep getting the BSOD everytime I try to reinstall the
display driver.  I just reformated and the screen is all funky looking
chopped up really low resolution and lowest color quality.  Any
answers are greatly appreciated, again. Sad

Hi curryjl,

Are you still getting the BSOD after the reformat?  If you are still getting a BSOD after the reformat while trying to reinstall your driver, then your video card may be dying.

What does the blue screen of death say?  Does it mention the display driver?

What version of Windows are you using?  What video card do you have?

Answering these questions will help us help you, thanks.

If you are using Windows XP, I can give you directions on disabling the restart on the BSOD so that you can see the error message. This will help us diagnose what is really wrong. Your video card is dying, or your RAM could be faulty.
